Unseasonably wet weather in southern Idaho increases risk for a late blight outbreak.

It has been several years since we have had an outbreak of late blight in Idaho. However, the unseasonably wet and moderate weather we’ve had recently has created conditions for potential late blight outbreaks in many locations in southern Idaho. A recent University of Idaho article sent out on the Idaho Potato Pulse mailing list highlights conditions favorable for late blight and the importance of scouting for late blight.
