No spores of late blight were detected at any site in Idaho this week. Spores of Alternaria solani (early blight) were detected at Parma (2 days) and Aberdeen (1 day). Spores of white mold were detected at Acequia, Blackfoot and Tetonia this week.

This week, the Agrimet weather station at Rupert had 2 consecutive days (22 – 23 Jul) where the relative humidity (RH) was above 80% for more than 10hrs. As such, our CHP model suggests that there is an elevated risk of late blight in this area. Although, no spores were detected in the area, growers should remain vigilant for possible signs of late blight.
